Impact of McDonald’s on the United States
McDonald’s gave US a little a bad image. It was undergoing a 20 year long legal battle for allegedly exploiting workers, supporting child labour, providing unhealthy food, and harming the environment. This can suggest that McDonald’s is not a very good example of a US corporation. It is also partially a cause of obesity among American people. While McDonald’s cannot “monitor calorie consumption for every customer”, the fast-food chain is the biggest one in America and people will tend to consume McDonald’s more than any other, possibly healthier, fast-food choices.
